Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and automation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Develop and deliver training materials to production staff on new processes and equipment.
  • Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in manufacturing operations.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in advanced manufacturing and automation.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering roles, with a strong focus on process optimization and automation.
  • Proven expertise in CAD/CAM software, simulation tools, and data analysis techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate remotely.
  • Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack) and cloud-based project management software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
