- Design, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and automation solutions.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of new processes.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Develop and deliver training materials to production staff on new processes and equipment.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in manufacturing operations.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in advanced manufacturing and automation.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering roles, with a strong focus on process optimization and automation.
- Proven expertise in CAD/CAM software, simulation tools, and data analysis techniques.
- Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate remotely.
- Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack) and cloud-based project management software.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
