- Design, develop, implement, and optimize advanced manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement using statistical methods and lean manufacturing principles.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for manufacturing processes.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and automation solutions.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless product and process integration from design to production.
- Develop and execute validation plans for new processes and equipment.
- Monitor process performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reports and insights to management.
- Contribute to the design for manufacturability (DFM) reviews of new product introductions.
- Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in advanced manufacturing.
- Facilitate and lead virtual process improvement initiatives and kaizen events.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, preferably in high-tech industries such as electronics, aerospace, or medical devices.
- Proven experience with process optimization techniques, statistical process control (SPC), and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong understanding of automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a remote team setting.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory compliance.
