Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their dynamic, fully remote team. This role is crucial for optimizing and advancing our manufacturing operations across various product lines. You will be responsible for analyzing existing production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Your expertise will span process design, validation, troubleshooting, and the implementation of new manufacturing technologies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in mechanical or industrial engineering, with a proven track record in a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and production, to ensure seamless integration and successful deployment of process improvements. This position offers the unique opportunity to drive significant impact on our manufacturing capabilities from a remote setting. Key responsibilities include developing detailed process documentation, conducting capability studies, and implementing lean manufacturing principles. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, adept at leading technical projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practices will also be an important aspect of this position. This role requires a strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and its application in manufacturing. Experience with CAD/CAM software and automation technologies is highly desirable.
