You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing cutting-edge manufacturing processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting complex production issues, implementing new technologies, and ensuring that our manufacturing operations meet the highest industry standards. This role demands a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, statistical process control (SPC), and Six Sigma methodologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and operations, to translate product designs into viable, scalable manufacturing solutions. Responsibilities will include conducting feasibility studies, developing process simulations, creating detailed documentation (SOPs, work instructions), and validating new equipment and processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Experience with CAD software for tooling design and familiarity with automation technologies are highly desirable. A commitment to safety and environmental regulations is paramount. This remote position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across different locations. You will be expected to proactively manage your workload, meet project deadlines, and contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence in a remote-first environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing process design and optimization.
  • Proven experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and SPC.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software and CAD tools.
  • Strong understanding of automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 concepts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and remote work skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
