Remote Lead Procurement Analyst

Our client is seeking a seasoned and analytical Lead Procurement Analyst to join their fully remote team. Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics to track procurement spend, supplier performance, and market trends.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and strategic sourcing initiatives across various spend categories.
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to understand supplier landscapes, pricing dynamics, and potential risks.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, finance, and operations, to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Manage and optimize procurement data within the company's ERP and procurement software systems.
• Develop and refine sourcing strategies, including RFx development, negotiation support, and contract analysis.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, fostering a collaborative approach to procurement.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in procurement and supply chain management.
• Mentor and guide junior procurement analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
• Support the negotiation of favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve optimal value.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain analysis, with a strong emphasis on data analytics.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive significant cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Proficiency in procurement software suites (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement) and advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent understanding of sourcing methodologies, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment, demonstrating strong self-discipline and communication skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
