Remote Human Resources Director - Talent Acquisition & Employee Relations

Our client is a rapidly growing organization seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resources Director to lead their Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations functions. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the US. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, a passion for building strong company cultures, and a proven track record of success in managing complex HR initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent across all departments.
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Champion employee engagement initiatives, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization.
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and drive organizational effectiveness.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and equity.
- Manage HR compliance, including EEO, FLSA, FMLA, and other relevant employment laws.
- Develop and deliver HR training programs for managers and employees on various HR topics.
- Utilize HRIS systems for data management, reporting, and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Stay current with HR trends, legal changes, and best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) throughout all HR initiatives.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; PHR or SPHR certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership or director-level role.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR technology tools.
- Strategic thinker with a strong ability to translate business needs into effective HR solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in fostering positive employee relations and a strong company culture.
