You will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and optimizing automated manufacturing processes and systems. - Design, develop, and implement advanced automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Specify, select, and integrate robotics, PLCs, HMI, and SCADA systems.
- Develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and functional design specifications.
- Lead and manage automation projects from concept through commissioning and validation.
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of automated systems.
- Develop and execute validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) for automated equipment and processes.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automated systems.
- Train production and maintenance personnel on the operation and maintenance of automated equipment.
- Stay abreast of emerging automation technologies and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards in all automation projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on manufacturing automation.
- Extensive experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
- Proven experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) integration and programming.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated project management experience in leading complex automation initiatives.
- Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
- Experience with vision systems and advanced sensor technology is a plus.
