The Lead Analyst will be responsible for overseeing security operations, identifying vulnerabilities, developing and executing security strategies, and responding to security incidents. You will play a crucial role in protecting the organization's digital assets and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of current cybersecurity threats, advanced technical skills, and strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive information security programs and policies.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
  • Design and manage security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
  • Develop and execute incident response plans, leading investigations and remediation efforts.
  • Monitor security alerts and events, analyzing potential threats and taking appropriate action.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security analysts.
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training to employees.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure configurations and best practices across systems and applications.
  • Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions.
  • Develop security metrics and reporting for senior management.
  • Participate in security audits and reviews.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior analyst role.
  • Proven experience with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance standards.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and application security.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, vulnerability management solutions, and incident response platforms.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation is highly desirable.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage projects in a remote environment.
