This role is pivotal in conceptualizing, developing, and executing a wide range of events, from intimate virtual gatherings to large-scale online conferences, all managed from the comfort of your own home office. You will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of event planning, including budget management, vendor negotiation, timeline adherence, and client communication, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a passion for innovation in virtual event design, and a proven track record of delivering successful events.

Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize and plan virtual and hybrid events, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand standards.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of events, including platform selection, speaker coordination, technical requirements, and attendee engagement strategies.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage third-party vendors, including technology providers, virtual entertainment, and promotional partners.
  • Create detailed event timelines and project plans, ensuring all milestones are met.
  • Develop comprehensive marketing and communication plans to drive event registration and engagement.
  • Provide on-site (virtual) support during events, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Conduct post-event analysis, gather feedback, and generate comprehensive reports on event success and ROI.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in virtual and hybrid event planning.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning, with a significant portion focused on virtual or hybrid events.
  • Proven experience managing complex budgets and negotiating with vendors.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software and virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom Events, Hopin, Cvent).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
