Lead Network Security Architect (Remote)

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Lead Network Security Architect to join their dynamic, fully remote cybersecurity team. This critical role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the security architecture of our global network infrastructure. You will be responsible for developing robust security strategies, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing advanced security solutions to protect our assets from evolving threats. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network security principles, protocols, and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, encryption, and SIEM systems. Responsibilities include architecting secure network designs, conducting security risk assessments, developing security policies and procedures, and leading incident response efforts. You will work closely with IT operations, development teams, and business stakeholders to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of our technology strategy. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of security tasks is highly desirable. We are looking for a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong leadership and communication abilities. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, along with extensive professional experience in network security architecture, is required. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCIE Security, or CISM are highly valued.
