We are seeking a motivated Cook to join our team! As a Cook at Pearl of Joliet, you will prepare and cook a variety of meals for our patients and staff, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and taste. This is a part-time opportunity that requires a strong attention to detail, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menu specifications
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment at all times
• Monitor food inventory and ordering, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet patient demand
• Collaborate with our dietary team to plan and implement special diets and menu items
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience as a Cook or related role
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
