Job Description
StaffDNA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging studies in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. You’ll operate advanced CT equipment, follow imaging protocols, and ensure radiation safety while delivering compassionate care. Collaborating with physicians and clinical teams, you’ll verify orders, prepare patients, and capture accurate diagnostic images. Perform high-quality CT imaging exams according to established protocols
Verify physician orders and patient identity, and obtain relevant clinical history
Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal image quality and comfort
Operate and troubleshoot multi-slice CT scanners and related imaging equipment
Apply radiation safety standards for patients, self, and staff
Start and monitor IV contrast injections per protocol and document properly
Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and repeat studies when necessary
Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to support timely diagnosis
Maintain accurate records, logs, and electronic documentation
Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
Computed tomography (CT) imaging
Radiologic positioning and anatomy
Operation of multi-slice CT scanners
IV insertion and contrast administration
Radiation safety and dose optimization
PACS and RIS/EMR systems
Image quality assessment and troubleshooting
Patient preparation and communication
Infection control procedures
Basic life support (BLS)
