Senior Software Developer

SimVentions, Inc. (Glassdoor 4.6) seeks a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and sustain mission-critical solutions for Defense & Aerospace customers in our IT department. You will lead full lifecycle development, from requirements and architecture through implementation, testing, and deployment, while applying secure coding practices for DoD and federal environments. Collaborate with cross-functional experts, mentor junior developers, and drive technical excellence in a collaborative, family-like culture focused on integrity, growth, and mission success.
Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical defense software solutions
Lead full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment
Apply secure coding practices aligned with DoD and federal standards
Collaborate with systems engineers, cybersecurity, and test teams
Mentor junior developers and support code reviews
Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor complex software components
Contribute to architecture decisions and technical roadmaps
Produce clear technical documentation and implementation plans
