Job Description

Mercy, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking an OKC professional to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will support high-quality patient care across multiple specialties, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to innovative care solutions that enhance community health. You’ll engage in direct or supportive clinical services, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold regulatory and safety standards. Provide direct patient care within scope of practice, including assessments, monitoring, and clinical interventions.
Accurately document patient encounters, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans.
Administer medications and therapies as permitted by licensure and organizational policy, monitoring for effectiveness and safety.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and evaluate patient-centered care plans.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to support recovery and long-term health.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Participate in team huddles, case reviews, and quality-improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
Support care transitions, including discharge planning and coordination with community resources when appropriate.
Maintain professional development through training, in-services, and ongoing education aligned with Mercy’s expectations.

Experience with major EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner) preferred
