Job Description
Mercy, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking an OKC professional to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. Provide direct patient care within scope of practice, including assessments, monitoring, and clinical interventions.
Accurately document patient encounters, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.
Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans.
Administer medications and therapies as permitted by licensure and organizational policy, monitoring for effectiveness and safety.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and evaluate patient-centered care plans.
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to support recovery and long-term health.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality standards to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Participate in team huddles, case reviews, and quality-improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes and workflow efficiency.
Support care transitions, including discharge planning and coordination with community resources when appropriate.
Maintain professional development through training, in-services, and ongoing education aligned with Mercy’s expectations.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred or obtained within specified timeframe
Certification in a relevant specialty area (e.g., Medical-Surgical Nursing, Critical Care, or Ambulatory Care) preferred
Experience with major EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner) preferred
