CDL Class B Driver

Orica is seeking a safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this field-based role, you will safely operate Class B vehicles to deliver explosives and related materials to mining, quarrying, construction, and energy customers. Responsibilities include performing thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, loading and securing hazardous materials, and maintaining accurate DOT-compliant documentation. You will collaborate closely with dispatch and site teams, supporting innovative, high-impact projects in a culture that emphasizes safety, teamwork, sustainability, and proactive problem solving, with opportunities for skills growth and long-term career development.
Safely operate CDL Class B vehicles to transport explosives and related materials to customer sites.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring vehicles meet Orica and regulatory safety standards.
Load, secure, and unload materials in compliance with DOT and company procedures.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip records, and required regulatory documentation.
Follow all hazardous materials handling protocols and safety guidelines.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, site personnel, and customers regarding schedules and delivery requirements.
Support blasting and ground support operations with timely, reliable deliveries.
Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
