Job Description
Orica is seeking a safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this role, you will safely transport commercial explosives and related materials to customer sites in the mining, quarrying, construction, and energy sectors. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, secure loading/unloading, accurate logkeeping, and strict adherence to DOT and Orica safety standards. Safely operate CDL Class B vehicles to transport explosives and related materials to customer sites
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation
Ensure secure loading, unloading, and handling of hazardous materials in line with DOT and Orica safety standards
Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and compliance documentation
Communicate effectively with dispatch, site personnel, and team members to coordinate deliveries
Follow all company, federal, and state safety regulations and participate in safety meetings and training
Support basic vehicle upkeep and report maintenance needs promptly
Represent Orica professionally at customer sites, promoting a strong safety and service culture
