Job Description
Orica is seeking a safety-focused CDL Class B Driver to join our Transportation & Logistics team. In this role, you will safely transport commercial explosives and related products to mining, quarrying, construction, and energy customers. Responsibilities include conducting thorough vehicle inspections, ensuring compliant loading and unloading, and adhering to all DOT, OSHA, and Orica safety standards. You will collaborate with dispatch and site teams, maintain accurate logs and documentation, and support our strong culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
Safely operate CDL Class B vehicle transporting explosives and related products to customer sites
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation
Load, secure, transport, and unload materials in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and Orica safety policies and procedures at all times
Coordinate with dispatch, site personnel, and team members to ensure on-time deliveries
Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery records, and regulatory paperwork
Report vehicle issues, incidents, and near-misses promptly to supervisors
Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
CDL Class B driving
