Overview
Codeworks is partnering with a leading Milwaukee-area organization to identify a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer. This is a high-impact, hybrid role where you will work at the intersection of data engineering and business engagement—owning solutions from concept through delivery.
This position is ideal for a senior-level professional who thrives in a 50/50 blend of hands-on engineering and stakeholder collaboration, and who is comfortable leading data initiatives in complex enterprise environments.
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule – required onsite 3 days per week in downtown Milwaukee, WI

Please note: This position is open to W-2 employees only. C2C (Corp-to-Corp) arrangements are not permitted for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead stakeholder engagement, business discovery, and requirements gathering
- Design and build scalable, end-to-end data and analytics solutions
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and curated datasets within a modern cloud data platform
- Translate business needs into well-architected data models and solutions
- Partner cross-functionally with business and technical teams to prioritize and deliver roadmap initiatives
- Ensure strong data governance, quality, lineage, and metadata practices
- Support downstream analytics and reporting needs (e.g., BI tools such as Power BI)
- Contribute to best practices in data architecture, modeling, and engineering standards
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise data and analytics solutions
- Proven experience leading stakeholder engagement and influencing business partners
- Strong background in data warehousing, data modeling, and analytics engineering
- Experience designing cloud-based data platforms and solutions
- Advanced SQL development and optimization skills
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management
- Experience working in Agile environments and leading cross-functional initiatives
Preferred Technical Skills
- Snowflake
- dbt (highly preferred)
- Power BI (or similar BI tools)
- Dimensional modeling, relational modeling (3NF)
- Data warehousing methodologies (Kimball, Data Vault)
- Git-based version control
- CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Data observability and monitoring tools
Work Environment

Compensation & Benefits
Codeworks discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $50.00 and $75.00./hr for the contract portion before converting to full-time employee. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable. All full-time Codeworks employees are eligible to enroll in the company’s medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
