Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment, monitor patient status, and ensure accurate documentation. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality cardiac care. Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
Operate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment
Prepare patients and procedure rooms, including sterile field setup and supplies
Monitor and document patient vitals and hemodynamic data during procedures
Administer contrast media and assist with medications per protocols and scope
Ensure accurate and timely procedure documentation in patient records
Maintain radiation safety, infection control, and all regulatory standards
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff for coordinated care
Participate in on-call coverage as required by the facility
Support quality improvement and staff education initiatives
Cardiac catheterization procedures
Fluoroscopy and radiologic imaging operation
Hemodynamic monitoring and waveform analysis
Sterile technique and cardiovascular lab setup
Radiation safety and dose management
Contrast administration and patient monitoring
Cardiac anatomy and physiology
ECG interpretation
Electronic medical record documentation
Infection control and regulatory compliance

ARRT (R) or RCIS certification preferred/required per facility
Current state radiologic technologist license, if applicable
BLS and ACLS certifications
Previous cath lab or interventional radiology experience
Competence with hemodynamic monitoring systems
