Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will perform CT imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and radiation protection. Perform high-quality CT scans according to physician orders and department protocols
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate identification throughout exams
Apply radiation safety principles and minimize patient exposure
Prepare and administer IV contrast following policies and monitoring for reactions
Collaborate with radiologists and providers to optimize imaging studies
Document procedures accurately in PACS/RIS and maintain patient records
Perform equipment checks and basic troubleshooting; report service needs
Follow infection control, regulatory, and quality standards at all times
Provide clear explanations and compassionate care to diverse patient populations
Participate in ongoing education and skills development opportunities
CT imaging operation and protocols
Radiation safety and dose optimization
Patient positioning and immobilization
IV contrast preparation and administration
Cross-sectional anatomy and pathology recognition
PACS and RIS/EHR systems use
Infection control and aseptic technique
Emergency response and patient monitoring
