Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff. You will operate and maintain CT equipment, follow imaging protocols, and accurately document procedures. Perform high-quality CT imaging exams according to physician orders and facility protocols
Verify patient identity, review histories, and explain procedures to ensure safety and comfort
Position patients accurately and operate CT scanners, ensuring optimal image quality
Administer IV contrast per protocol, monitor for reactions, and document appropriately
Follow strict radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA standards
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to support timely diagnoses
Maintain accurate documentation and utilize PACS/EMR systems efficiently
Inspect and troubleshoot CT equipment, reporting issues promptly
Support a culture of transparency, accountability, and teamwork
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Computed tomography (CT) imaging
Patient positioning and immobilization
Radiation safety and dose optimization
Operation of CT scanners and PACS
IV contrast administration and monitoring
Cross-sectional anatomy knowledge
Exam protocol selection and optimization
Infection control and PPE use
Electronic medical record documentation

ARRT (R) required; ARRT (CT) strongly preferred or obtained within 12–18 months of hire
Active state radiologic technologist license (as applicable)
BLS certification through AHA or equivalent
IV contrast competency or willingness to complete facility-based training
