Job Description
Kaiser Permanente seeks a licensed Psychologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment to a diverse patient population within an integrated healthcare system. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied professionals to create coordinated care plans, deliver individual and group therapy, and conduct risk and crisis assessments. Responsibilities include developing goal-oriented treatment plans, maintaining accurate EMR documentation, and contributing to program development and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, cultural competence, and commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care in a fast-paced medical environment.
Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment for Kaiser Permanente members.
Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plans focused on measurable outcomes.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate integrated care.
Conduct risk assessments, manage crises, and ensure appropriate safety planning and follow-up.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record in line with Kaiser policies.
Provide psychoeducation to patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and quality-improvement initiatives.
Stay current with best practices, guidelines, and emerging research in clinical psychology.
