This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States. You will be instrumental in defining the architectural roadmap for our cloud-native applications and services, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to solve complex technical challenges. Your expertise will guide development teams, ensuring best practices in microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) are adopted and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, high-availability cloud-based solutions.
- Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Lead the technical vision and roadmap for cloud infrastructure and services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate requirements into robust technical designs.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve development and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Oversee the implementation of containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into the cloud architecture.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues in production environments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in an architectural role.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent understanding of networking, security, and database technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
