Senior Instructional Designer & Facilitator (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Instructional Designer & Facilitator to join our fully remote team. This crucial role will involve designing engaging and effective learning programs, developing robust training materials, and facilitating dynamic virtual learning sessions that drive knowledge acquisition and skill development for our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement engaging and effective learning solutions, including e-learning modules, instructor-led courses (virtual and in-person), workshops, and blended learning programs.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create measurable learning outcomes.
  • Develop comprehensive course content, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, assessments, and other learning materials.
  • Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia software to create interactive and visually appealing e-learning experiences.
  • Facilitate virtual training sessions, ensuring active learner participation, fostering a positive learning environment, and effectively addressing participant questions and needs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and translate technical information into clear, concise, and actionable learning content.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through various assessment methods and feedback mechanisms, making data-driven improvements.
  • Manage multiple learning design and delivery projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Stay current with trends and best practices in instructional design, adult learning, e-learning technologies, and virtual facilitation.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive learning strategy and curriculum roadmap.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior instructional designers and facilitators.
  • Conduct needs analyses to identify learning gaps and propose appropriate learning solutions.
  • Maintain and update existing training materials to ensure relevance and accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training & Development, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in instructional design and adult learning program development.
  • Proven experience in designing and facilitating engaging virtual learning sessions using various online platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex).
  • Expertise in authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Captivate) and common e-learning standards (SCORM, xAPI).
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories, curriculum development, and assessment strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and engagingly.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in designing for diverse learning audiences and needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs and stakeholders remotely.
  • A creative and analytical approach to problem-solving and solution design.
