Instructional Design Lead (Remote)

This role is paramount in conceptualizing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective online learning materials and curriculum across various subjects and levels. You will lead a team of instructional designers, guide the use of learning technologies, and ensure that all educational content aligns with pedagogical best practices and institutional goals. Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of engaging and pedagogically sound online courses and learning modules.
• Manage and mentor a team of instructional designers, providing guidance on best practices and project management.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), faculty, and stakeholders to translate learning objectives into effective instructional content.
• Utilize a variety of learning technologies, authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to create dynamic learning experiences.
• Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure learning outcomes and course effectiveness.
• Ensure all instructional materials are accessible, inclusive, and adhere to universal design principles.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in instructional design, online learning, and educational technology.
• Oversee the quality assurance and revision process for all instructional materials.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and continuous improvement of the institution's online learning programs.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for instructional design projects.
• Facilitate training sessions for faculty and staff on effective use of learning technologies and instructional design principles.
