Our client, a forward-thinking educational technology company, is seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Instructional Designer to join their fully remote team. This position is ideal for a creative professional passionate about transforming educational content into engaging and effective learning experiences. As the Lead Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of digital learning solutions, including e-learning courses, interactive modules, and multimedia resources for various educational levels. You will lead a team of instructional designers, providing mentorship, setting design standards, and ensuring the quality and pedagogical soundness of all learning materials. Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, defining learning objectives, designing curriculum frameworks, developing engaging course content (including scripts, storyboards, and assessments), and collaborating with subject matter experts, graphic designers, and multimedia developers. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through data analysis and user feedback, making iterative improvements to enhance learning outcomes. Proficiency in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar, as well as experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of adult learning principles (andragogy), instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and multimedia learning theories. Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills are critical for managing multiple projects simultaneously and working effectively within a distributed team. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere while shaping the future of online education. We are looking for a candidate with a Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field, and at least 6 years of experience in instructional design, with a proven ability to lead projects and teams.
