Senior Audio Engineer - Live Sound Production

Our client, a premier entertainment and production company in Jacksonville, Florida, US , is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Audio Engineer to oversee live sound production for major events, concerts, and performances. This is a critical, on-site role requiring a deep understanding of audio technologies, mixing consoles, signal flow, and acoustic principles. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting all audio equipment to deliver exceptional sound quality for diverse audiences. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in live sound engineering for large-scale events, possesses strong technical proficiency, and can work effectively under pressure in dynamic environments. A minimum of 7 years of experience in professional live sound production is required. Expertise with digital mixing consoles (e.g., Avid VENUE, Yamaha CL/QL series), line arrays, microphones, and audio networking protocols is essential. Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing sound systems for various live events.
• Mixing front-of-house (FOH) and monitor sound during performances.
• Setting up and calibrating audio equipment, including PA systems, monitors, and microphones.
• Troubleshooting audio issues in real-time to ensure seamless sound delivery.

• Managing inventory and maintenance of audio equipment.
