Senior Real Estate Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Real Estate Analyst to join their investment team. This role, based in **Richmond, Virginia**, offers the exciting prospect of evaluating diverse real estate investment opportunities, conducting in-depth market research, and providing critical financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. While the primary office is in Richmond, this position is designed as a remote opportunity, allowing you to contribute effectively from your chosen location. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying potential acquisitions, assessing property valuations, and forecasting financial performance. You will work closely with acquisitions, development, and portfolio management teams to drive value and achieve investment objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling for potential real estate acquisitions and developments.
• Perform market research and trend analysis to identify investment opportunities and risks.
• Evaluate property-level performance metrics and develop pro forma financial statements.
• Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
• Analyze lease agreements, operating statements, and other relevant property data.
• Assist in the due diligence process for acquisitions, including financial, market, and operational reviews.
• Monitor and report on the performance of existing assets in the portfolio.
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, appraisers, and other industry professionals.
• Stay informed about economic conditions and real estate market dynamics.
• Contribute to the development of strategic asset management plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate financial analysis, investment, or asset management.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and ARGUS Enterprise is essential.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of real estate valuation methods and capital markets.
• Demonstrated ability to research and interpret market data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
• Experience with various property types (e.g., multifamily, industrial, retail, office) is desirable.
