Senior Account Executive - Enterprise Software

Our client, a rapidly growing enterprise software company, is seeking an accomplished Senior Account Executive to join their ambitious sales team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This hybrid role allows for a dynamic blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of exceeding sales targets within the B2B software sector, particularly in closing complex enterprise deals. You will be responsible for managing a territory, building C-level relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic account penetration and expansion.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed annual revenue targets for enterprise software solutions within an assigned territory.
  • Prospect for new business opportunities by identifying key decision-makers and engaging with potential clients through various channels.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, including needs assessment, product demonstrations, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with enterprise clients, understanding their business challenges and aligning our solutions to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, solutions engineering, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey and successful implementation.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management updates to leadership.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and product knowledge to effectively position our client's offerings.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences, building brand awareness and generating leads.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them leverage technology to achieve their business objectives.
  • Achieve defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to sales activities, pipeline growth, and revenue generation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of successful enterprise sales experience, with a strong emphasis on software or SaaS solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed multi-million dollar sales quotas.
  • Proven experience in navigating complex sales cycles and selling to C-level executives.
  • Excellent understanding of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, and hybrid work environment.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to articulate technical concepts in business terms.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly adaptable.
  • Experience with solution selling methodologies.
