Supply Chain Director

Our client, a leading player in the consumer goods sector, is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Supply Chain Director to oversee their extensive logistics and warehousing operations. This role will involve managing a complex network of facilities, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The Director will be responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. This includes forecasting demand, managing transportation networks, and implementing advanced supply chain technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and inventory control principles. You will lead a team of logistics and warehouse professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management. Key responsibilities include negotiating contracts with suppliers and carriers, identifying opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. The Director will also play a critical role in building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless operations. A proven ability to analyze complex data, develop data-driven insights, and implement effective solutions is essential. Experience in managing large budgets and capital expenditures related to supply chain infrastructure is required.
