Remote Civil Engineering Project Lead

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Civil Engineering Project Lead to manage and oversee a variety of civil infrastructure projects from conception to completion. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while driving impactful engineering initiatives. You will be responsible for all phases of project management, including planning, design, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering, with proven experience in managing complex projects, such as transportation systems, water resources, or site development. Expertise in project management software and tools is essential. You will lead and coordinate teams of engineers, designers, and contractors, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities include developing project scopes, obtaining necessary permits and approvals, conducting site investigations (remotely, where feasible, or coordinating with local teams), and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills are critical for effective stakeholder management, including clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders. You will be expected to identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues proactively, and ensure clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. A deep understanding of civil engineering principles and best practices is required. The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to evolving project requirements in a remote environment is crucial.
