Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the conceptualization, formulation, and development of new beauty and wellness products.
• Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from initial ideation through to final production.
• Source and evaluate raw materials, ensuring quality, efficacy, and compliance with natural/organic standards.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
• Develop and manage product testing protocols, including stability, compatibility, and efficacy testing.
• Ensure all product formulations and packaging comply with relevant regulatory requirements (FDA, etc.).
• Stay informed about emerging trends, ingredients, and technologies in the beauty and wellness sectors.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop product claims, narratives, and launch strategies.
• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Champion sustainability initiatives in product development and packaging.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in product development within the beauty and wellness industry.
• Proven track record of successfully launching new beauty products.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulation, ingredient science, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for cosmetic products in major markets.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, crucial for remote teamwork.
• Passion for natural, organic, and sustainable beauty and wellness products.
• Experience with packaging development and material science is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward in a remote setting.
