Senior Civil Engineer - Structural Design (Remote)

Our client is a renowned engineering consultancy recognized for its innovative approach to complex infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, analysis, and oversight of structural elements for a variety of challenging projects, including bridges, buildings, and other public works. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safety, integrity, and efficiency of structural designs, adhering to all relevant codes and standards. Responsibilities include performing complex structural calculations, developing detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD software, and conducting site investigations and assessments remotely through client-provided data and virtual tools. You will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines, providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing significant contributions to large-scale structural engineering projects. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, with a Master's degree in Structural Engineering being highly preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a mandatory requirement. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in structural design, with a focus on building structures and/or transportation infrastructure, is essential. Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or RAM Structural System, along with advanced CAD skills (AutoCAD, Revit Structure), is expected. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for effective remote collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
