You will play a crucial role in translating design concepts into buildable realities, ensuring technical accuracy, code compliance, and constructability across all project phases. This position demands a rigorous approach to detailing, a strong understanding of building materials and systems, and the ability to manage and mentor junior technologists.

- Lead the development of detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using advanced BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD).
- Oversee the technical aspects of design projects from concept through construction administration, ensuring adherence to project budgets and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other consultants to integrate various building systems and ensure constructability.
- Perform site visits (as required and feasible remotely or with local resources) to monitor construction progress and address technical issues.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Conduct technical reviews of designs and construction documents.
- Manage and mentor a team of architectural technologists, providing guidance and technical support.
- Research and evaluate new building materials, technologies, and construction methods.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and project teams.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm's technical standards and workflows.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in architectural technology and construction documentation.
- Expert proficiency in Revit and other BIM software; experience with AutoCAD is also beneficial.
- Deep understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methods across various project types.
- Proven experience leading technical aspects of complex architectural projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
- Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and practices.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of technically proficient architectural projects.
