Remote Architectural Designer

Our client is seeking a talented and innovative Remote Architectural Designer to contribute to groundbreaking design projects. This position is fully remote, allowing you to collaborate with our design team and clients from anywhere. You will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, creating detailed design documentation, and supporting projects from the schematic design phase through construction administration. The ideal candidate possesses strong design sensibilities, proficiency in architectural software, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:

• Develop and present architectural designs, concepts, and models.
• Create detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD and BIM software.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications.
• Conduct site analysis and research relevant building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with senior architects, engineers, and other consultants throughout the design process.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, articulating design ideas effectively.
• Support the construction administration process, responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
• Research and specify building materials, finishes, and systems.
• Maintain project documentation and organizational standards.
• Contribute to the development of design standards and best practices.
• Ensure designs comply with project requirements, budget constraints, and sustainability goals.
• Generate renderings and visualizations to communicate design intent.
• Assist in project planning and coordination.
• Stay abreast of current architectural trends, technologies, and materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in architectural design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, design theory, and construction methods.
• Excellent visual communication, graphic, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is essential.
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles and certifications (e.g., LEED) is a plus.
• Portfolio showcasing design talent and project experience is required.
