Our client, a prestigious architectural firm renowned for its innovative and sustainable designs, is seeking an exceptional Lead Architectural Designer to join their fully remote team. This is a unique opportunity to lead high-profile projects from conception through completion, shaping iconic structures and urban spaces. You will be responsible for guiding design teams, developing creative concepts, and ensuring the highest standards of architectural excellence. The ideal candidate is a visionary designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in a range of project typologies and a deep understanding of architectural theory, history, and contemporary practice. Responsibilities include leading design development, producing detailed architectural drawings and models using advanced software, collaborating with clients to understand their vision and requirements, and coordinating with engineering consultants (structural, MEP, civil) and contractors. You will also play a crucial role in mentoring junior designers, contributing to firm-wide design strategy, and staying at the forefront of sustainable design practices and emerging technologies. A Master's degree in Architecture is required, along with significant professional experience (10+ years) and licensure as a Registered Architect (RA) or equivalent. Proven experience in leading design teams and managing complex projects from inception to construction administration is essential. Expertise in industry-standard architectural software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering programs (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion), is mandatory. Strong conceptual thinking, creative problem-solving abilities, and exceptional presentation and communication skills are critical for success in this remote leadership role. Key responsibilities include:
