Senior UI/UX Designer - Remote

Our client is a renowned technology innovator seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join their fully remote product development team. This critical role will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and interface design for our cutting-edge digital products. You will be responsible for the entire design process, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and final visual design, ensuring intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing interfaces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in user-centered design principles, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping tools. You must excel at translating complex user needs and business requirements into elegant, functional, and innovative design solutions. As a remote team member, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers using virtual collaboration tools to bring our product vision to life. Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain deep insights into user behaviors and needs.
• Translate research findings and business requirements into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across all products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers to define product strategy and features.
• Work in partnership with front-end developers to ensure the accurate implementation of designs.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and performance metrics.
• Present design concepts and solutions to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX design trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall design culture.
• Ensure accessibility standards are met in all design outputs.
• Optimize user journeys for maximum engagement and conversion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital product design work.
• Expertise in user research methodologies and a proven ability to translate research into actionable design insights.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles, information architecture, and visual design best practices.
• Experience designing for complex web applications and responsive mobile interfaces.
• Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with data visualization and creating dashboards is desirable.
