Senior UI/UX Designer

Our client, a dynamic digital product studio, is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join their distributed team. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the user experience and interface design for innovative web and mobile applications. The Senior UI/UX Designer will be responsible for conducting user research, creating wireframes, developing intuitive user flows, and designing visually appealing interfaces that align with brand identity and business objectives. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to deliver exceptional digital products that are both functional and delightful for users. This is a fully remote position, empowering you to work from anywhere.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process for new features and products, from concept to high-fidelity mockups and prototypes.
• Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and personas to articulate user needs and design solutions.
• Develop intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces (UI) that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with product managers to define product requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
• Work closely with front-end developers to ensure the accurate implementation of UI designs and a seamless user experience.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and stakeholder input.
• Maintain and evolve design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across products.
• Stay current with the latest UI/UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Present design concepts and rationale effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful web and mobile application designs.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Experience conducting various forms of user research and usability testing.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive user interfaces.
• Strong visual design skills, with an eye for typography, color, and layout.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
