Lead Machine Learning Scientist (Remote)

Our client is looking for an exceptional Lead Machine Learning Scientist to join their pioneering scientific research and development division. You will spearhead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models and algorithms to tackle complex scientific challenges. Responsibilities include designing and implementing state-of-the-art ML solutions, overseeing data scientists and researchers, and mentoring junior team members. You will be involved in every stage of the ML lifecycle, from data preprocessing and feature engineering to model training, validation, and production deployment. A deep understanding of various ML techniques, including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing, is crucial. You will also contribute to research publications and present findings at scientific conferences. The ideal candidate possesses a PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Physics, or a related quantitative field, with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in machine learning research and application. Demonstrated leadership experience and a strong publication record are highly desirable. Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn is mandatory.
