Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Remote Construction Project Lead to oversee groundbreaking construction projects from inception to completion. This is a remote-first position, allowing you to manage projects nationwide while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction timelines, budgets, and resources, with a strong emphasis on communication and problem-solving in a virtual environment. You will be responsible for coordinating with site supervisors, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to project specifications and safety standards. This role demands exceptional leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive projects forward effectively despite geographical distance.

- Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Managing and monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Coordinating and communicating effectively with all project team members, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site personnel, primarily through virtual channels.
- Ensuring compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Overseeing the procurement of materials and equipment, and managing vendor relationships.
- Reviewing and approving project-related documents, including blueprints, permits, and change orders.
- Conducting regular virtual progress meetings and providing comprehensive reports to senior management and clients.
- Resolving on-site issues and conflicts promptly and efficiently through remote coordination.
- Maintaining meticulous project documentation and records.
- Ensuring project milestones are met within the allocated time and budget.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in construction project management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing diverse construction projects (e.g., commercial, residential, industrial).
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Teams).
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and decision-making skills.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
