- Oversee the integration of different automation systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
- Conduct feasibility studies and create detailed project proposals for automation initiatives.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing automated systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including P&IDs, electrical schematics, and user manuals.
- Stay current with advancements in automation technology, robotics, and industrial control systems.
- Ensure that all automation solutions meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing automation and controls engineering.
- Proven expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley Logix), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
- Experience with industrial robotics programming (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, Ethernet/IP).
- Familiarity with vision systems, sensors, and data acquisition.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Experience with CAD software for electrical schematics is a plus.
