You will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies across various platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, traffic, and ultimately, sales. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, e-commerce marketing, and performance analytics.

As the Remote Social Media Strategist, you will craft compelling content strategies, manage social media calendars, and oversee the creation of engaging visual and written content tailored for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and others relevant to our target audience. You will conduct social listening, monitor online conversations, and engage with our community to foster brand loyalty. A critical aspect of this role involves analyzing social media performance data, using tools like Google Analytics and native platform insights, to measure ROI, identify trends, and optimize campaigns for maximum impact. You will collaborate closely with marketing, merchandising, and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with e-commerce sales and marketing goals.

  • Analyze social media metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports on performance and insights.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive brand messaging and integrated campaigns.
  • Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers and brand advocates.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on emerging social media platforms, tools, and best practices.
  • Contribute to A/B testing of content and campaign elements to optimize engagement and conversion rates.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience managing social media strategies for e-commerce brands.
  • Demonstrated success in growing social media presence and driving sales through social channels.
  • Expert knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn) and their respective best practices.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and digital marketing principles.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and visual content creation skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret performance metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
  • Experience with paid social advertising is essential.
  • Portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns is highly desirable.
