As an Advanced Propulsion Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in the research, development, and testing of next-generation propulsion systems, focusing on enhancing performance, efficiency, and sustainability. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and analyzing mechanical components and systems using advanced simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks), developing prototypes, conducting rigorous testing and validation, and interpreting complex test data to drive design improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists, to ensure seamless integration and successful product launches. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and material science, coupled with hands-on experience in engine or electric powertrain development. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience. Excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively are crucial.
