Process Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current manufacturing and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
• Lead and facilitate Lean Six Sigma projects, including DMAIC initiatives.
• Utilize tools such as value stream mapping, process flow diagrams, and root cause analysis.
• Implement and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure consistent quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process change and adoption.
• Develop and deliver training on continuous improvement methodologies to employees.
• Document process improvements, best practices, and standard operating procedures.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency and quality.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in industrial and process engineering.
• Support the development and implementation of new production technologies.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in process improvement, industrial engineering, or a similar role.
• Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Experience with process mapping and simulation software.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
