As a Principal Industrial Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing, analyzing, and improving integrated systems of people, materials, information, equipment, and energy. Your expertise will be crucial in developing efficiency improvements, cost reduction strategies, and quality enhancement programs. This position requires a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, simulation modeling, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex industrial systems, including manufacturing processes, supply chains, and logistics networks.
- Apply advanced industrial engineering techniques, such as Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and simulation modeling, to identify and solve operational challenges.
- Conduct detailed capacity analysis, workflow studies, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions for material handling, facility layout, and production scheduling.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for efficiency gains.
- Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Develop business cases for capital investments and process improvements, demonstrating ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve overall system performance.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of emerging industrial engineering technologies and best practices.
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related engineering discipline. Ph.D. is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a strong focus on process optimization and system design in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), and project management.
- Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic), CAD tools, and advanced statistical analysis software.
- Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, production planning, and inventory management.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience in developing and implementing large-scale operational improvement projects.
- Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) is a plus.
