Supply Chain Logistics Manager - Remote

Our client, a dynamic and expanding e-commerce enterprise, is actively seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Logistics Manager to join their entirely remote team. This critical role will oversee and optimize the company's logistics operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from suppliers to customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing logistics strategies, managing transportation partners, and leveraging technology to enhance supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive logistics and transportation strategies to support business growth.
• Oversee daily logistics operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Select, negotiate with, and manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and carriers.
• Monitor and analyze key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cost per unit, and transit times.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain.
• Implement and manage logistics software and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and visibility.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, customs requirements, and international trade laws.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, sales, customer service) to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Develop and manage the logistics budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, developing contingency plans.
• Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends in logistics and supply chain management.
• Lead and mentor remote logistics team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics for a global network.
• Analyze inventory levels and collaborate with inventory management teams to optimize stock placement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a strong focus on transportation and warehousing.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful logistics strategies that drive cost savings and efficiency.
• Experience managing relationships with 3PL providers and freight carriers.
• In-depth knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in logistics software, transportation management systems (TMS), and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead a remote team effectively.
• Experience with e-commerce logistics is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
