Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to lead their supply chain operations. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to design, implement, and manage efficient and cost-effective logistics and supply chain strategies from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for optimizing inventory, transportation, warehousing, and overall supply chain performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement.

- Develop and execute comprehensive logistics and supply chain strategies to support business objectives.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
- Optimize inventory levels to minimize costs while ensuring product availability.
- Select and manage third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and carriers to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Implement and utilize supply chain technologies (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP) to enhance visibility and control.
- Analyze supply chain performance data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, trade policies, and safety standards.
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives within the supply chain and logistics operations.
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in logistics and supply chain management.
- Prepare regular reports on supply chain performance, inventory levels, and cost analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement in all supply chain processes through data analysis and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of global supply chain operations, including international logistics and customs.
- Proficiency in inventory management, transportation management, and warehouse operations.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) are a plus.
