Senior Logistics and Supply Chain Manager (Remote)

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize their global logistics operations. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage complex supply chains from anywhere in the US. You will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient logistics strategies, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods from origin to destination. Key responsibilities include managing all aspects of transportation, warehousing, and inventory control, as well as identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. You will work closely with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to streamline operations and enhance supply chain visibility. This role requires a deep understanding of international shipping regulations, customs compliance, and best practices in freight forwarding. You will develop and manage budgets, negotiate contracts with logistics providers, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency and service level agreements are met. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree and relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) are highly desirable. A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with a strong focus on transportation and warehousing, is required. Proven experience in implementing advanced supply chain technologies and systems is a significant advantage. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills are essential. You must have strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
