Structural Engineer (Remote)

Our client is looking for a talented and innovative Structural Engineer to join their fully remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the structural integrity of various construction projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and safety standards. You will utilize advanced engineering software to perform complex calculations and simulations, developing comprehensive structural plans and specifications. Key responsibilities include evaluating existing structures, recommending modifications, and providing technical expertise throughout the design and construction phases. This position requires a strong understanding of materials science, mechanics of materials, and structural analysis principles. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project execution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively independently and as part of a distributed team. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) licensure are required. Proven experience in seismic design, wind load analysis, and various construction types is highly valued. You will be expected to produce clear, concise technical documentation and reports.
