Remote Lead Architect, Cloud Infrastructure

Our client, a globally recognized technology firm, is seeking an exceptional Lead Architect for Cloud Infrastructure to join their fully remote team. This is a critical leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud environments that power our cutting-edge digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud architecture principles, with a strong focus on AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will lead the architectural vision for our cloud strategy, driving innovation and ensuring best practices in areas such as compute, storage, networking, security, and disaster recovery. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions, automating deployment and management processes, and establishing robust monitoring and alerting systems. You will collaborate closely with engineering and development teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient resource utilization. The Lead Architect will also be responsible for capacity planning, cost optimization, and staying ahead of emerging cloud technologies. This position requires a proven ability to design complex, distributed systems, a strong understanding of microservices architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to guide a team and influence technical direction across the organization. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with extensive experience in cloud architecture and DevOps, is required.
